What if my recording is rejected?
What happens if your eRecording is rejected?
You will receive email notification of the County Recorder rejection reason/s, your Original rejected document WILL BE MAILED BACK TO YOU from our scanning center for all corrections to be made.
How do I get my eRecording re submitted?
In the rejection email you receive will be a link to the Re Submission order form. You will need your original Get it Recorded Job number (10 digits) and your reference name/number for the recording, both can be found on all correspondence for your recording. Once your re submission request is received, we will reply with a new shipping slip for your re submission mailing to the scanning center. PLEASE NOTE: THE ORIGINAL RECORDING REQUEST JOB WILL BE CLOSED UPON REJECTION. YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO SEND THE COMPLETE ORIGINAL DOCUMENT WITH CORRECTIONS FOR A RE SUBMISSION.
What happens to my payment?
Unfortunately, once we have submitted to the county, our service fee is non-refundable. The re submission fee is $55.00 for each re submission. We strongly suggest you have your document reviewed by an advisor prior to sending for recording.
